BTDT.

You have to set the boot* environment variables EXACTLY right or it
doesn't work. Try:

>>> set boot_file vmlinux.gz
>>> set bootdef_dev dva0
>>> set boot_osflags "root=/dev/sdb1 bootdevice=/dev/fd0"
>>> boot

This is assuming that you want to load the kernel off of a floppy and you
have a real root partition on slice 1 of dka100.

If that doesn't do it for you, email me directly and I can probably help
as I just went thru that yesterday.
