When starting vmware for the first time, and later when shutting down the
system, I get an oops.

gcc --version:
egcs-2.91.66

kernel is patched with scsi-idle-patch and newer raid-support (shouldn't
matter, I think)

oopses are attached.

AMD-K6 300
Matrox Mill I
Hauppauge WinTV
HiSax: FritzCard ISDN ISA
ne.c:v1.10 9/23/94 Donald Becker (becker@cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov)
NE*000 ethercard probe at 0x240:
eth0: NE2000 found at 0x240, using IRQ 10.

Hopefully I didn't miss any necessary information?

Regards,

Michael
