Then it's not too late. Too late for 2.4, perhaps, but not too late. It could
still be fixed in 2.5.

I can see how that could be considered more appropriate. The only reason I
brought it up at this time was because of the bug that Francois-Rene pointed
out, which was presumably caused by the misnaming of the macros.
