Talking about unkillable processes - I've just encountered a froozen df
process. Kernel was 2.2.12-20 (Redhat 6.1) kernel running on a laptop but
recompiled with different options. I was running rm -rf on a large
directory, did ^Z and bg on the rm, then a df.
