Re: tulip/-DMODVERSION bug in SMP kernel

I had a similar problem, using a new LinkSys card purchased yesterday.
The solution in my case, however, was to go static and also to
download a replacement tulip.c from their web site.

For what it's worth.

P.S. Isn't it nice to actually see the word Linux on hardware
vendor's sites?
