Solved: init (and sysinit) and runlevels

hi again,
Previously I used /bin/ash symlinked to /bin/sh for my scripts. I replaced
that with bash (version 1) and it suddenly works. Anybody have any clues as to
why ash's and bash's behaviour differs when it comes to init in its `sysinit`
stage?

Thanks for the tips,
/Anders
