Strange behavior of df with kernel 2.3.51

Running df I'm told that the size of /proc is 4,294,967,295kB
and that 100% of it is used.
I'd love to have that much memory though ...

I'm running SuSE 6.3 on a Cyrix 200Mhz with 40M of Ram
and 14G of hard disk.
