I've just compiled 2.3.99pre2 on my 486, after adding "#include
<linux/module.h>" to ipc/shm.c.

I boot Linux with LOADLIN, using the following command line:

loadlin c:\lib\linux\2399p2.ker root=/dev/hda7 ro reboot=warm ide0=qd6580

The ide0 parameter generates this warning on boot:

IDE is not compiled as a module. Further information available on request -
please email as I don't have the bandwidth or time to subscribe to the mailing
list - I read the web archive occasionally.
