Hmmm... I sent you mail asking if there was any way to tell a
CONFIG_VIDEO_BT848=y what the tuner type is (by means of LILO append=
e. g.) which is unanswered, there is no documentation, neither in
drivers/char (not even in the sources), nor in
Documentation/video4linux.

With CONFIG_VIDEO_BT848=m and /etc/conf.modules it's fine, but if there
is no way to tell it with =y, it would be reasonable to patch
drivers/char/Config.in so as to prevent linking the BT848 driver into
the kernel to prevent users to configure the kernel in a way that the
tuner type cannot be set.
