If we ho further down that line alpha is not a completely uniform architecture
either, there is also all the m68k bunch and so on.

Overall,
        I think that distributing linux with no compilers, no kernel config and
incomplete includes should not be allowed by the licence. They can be removed
by the user but should be installed by default and in all preloads by the
distributor.

Than, on a machine wich is at factory defaults you have all you need to build a
driver.
