2.3.99-pre4: Oops on boot.

I just compiled 2.3.99-pre4, and when I was booting it I got an oops.

The last line before the oops was:
VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) readonly.

EIP was: c013dfc6

I've compiled this with gcc 2.7.2.3, while I did the others with 2.95.2,
if that has anything to do with it.
