No, "static" refers to "static content" - but with real file system
access and no block maps, if possible. LILO is annoying enough (which is
why I replaced it by GRUB shortly after I met with SILO on SparcLinux).

Happens too often with LILO, not fixed place, but fixed file. Seems to
work with kmod as well, so it should be possible with devfs, too,
shouldn't it?
