Same deal, please.
I would appreciate some assistance testing a large patch against
2.3.99-pre6-3's drivers/net/3c59x.c. Particularly for the PCMCIA
cards and for the EISA bus Vortex NIC.
This driver supports 29 3Com NICs, including PCMCIA (Cardbus) hotplug
cards. It should be a little tighter and a little faster than previous
versions. This patch merges together the 3c59x.c EISA/PCI driver
and the 3c575_cb.c PCMCIA driver. It removes 3c575_cb.c altogether. It
creates a symlink in the /lib/modules/<kernel>/pcmcia directory so that
the 3c575_cb.o module still appears to be there.
It removes 3c575_cb from the "PCMCIA Network Device Support" config
menu, leaving a comment telling the user to look in the ethernet 10/100
menu.
More details and the patch are at

Thanks.
(Is there a way of generating a patch which removes a file without
listing every line of that file in the patch?)
