Yesterday, I obtained a Fujitsu MPE3102AT hard drive that Linux
id's as follows:

 Q> hdb: FUJITSU MPE3102AT, ATA DISK drive
 Q> hdb: FUJITSU MPE3102AT, 9773MB w/512kB Cache, CHS=19857/16/63

If I list this drive in the BIOS table, I get a 10 minute (yes, I
did say "minute") pause after the RAM check, and "lost interrupt"
error messages by the dozen every time it's accessed, but if I
don't list it in the BIOS table, no such messages appear and
there's no pause either.

I'm running with RedHat 6.1 and using the standard release kernel
2.2.12-20 and for reference...
