Problems with 2.3.99-pre6

I just installed pre6 and ...

when loading parport_pc.o

It does not autodetact the irq of the parallel port
and loads with no irq for the parallel port and plip gives a warning about no irq for the parallel port.

but if you give the option irq=7 it finds the parallel port properly
