Make sure when you configure your kernel CONFIG_SCSI_MULTI_LUN is set to
'y'.

The question appears as, "Probe all LUNs on each SCSI device (NEW)".

It sounds like you said 'n'. The help for the option says it is safer,
and that most people should, say N. But in your case you do need it.
