On our LX163 with SuSE-6.3 for Alpha,
the NFS server has been working correctly with up to 2.2.15pre19 without
problems. Due to the well-known tty error, I updated to 2.2.16pre2.
Suddenly, the nfsserver does not work with
the error log in /var/log/messages show:

May 16 16:35:11 lucia kernel: exp_do_unexport: 08:11 last use, flushing
cache
May 16 16:35:11 lucia kernel: nfsd: terminating on signal 9
May 16 16:35:11 lucia last message repeated 3 times
May 16 16:35:11 lucia kernel: nfsd: last server exiting
May 16 16:35:11 lucia kernel: nfsd_fh_shutdown : freeing 682 fhcache
entries.
May 16 16:35:12 lucia /usr/sbin/rpc.kstatd[179]: Caught signal 15,
un-registering and exiting.
May 16 16:35:14 lucia kernel: lockd_up: no pid, 2 users??
May 16 16:35:14 lucia kernel: nfsd_fh_init : initialized fhcache,
entries=682
May 16 16:35:14 lucia modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
char-major-36
May 16 16:35:14 lucia mountd[408]: Failed to open /dev/nfsd_netlink: No
such device!

Does anybody have the same problem with 2.2.16pre2?

Thanks.
