Well, df and du -s almost ALWAYS differ:
- df returns number of allocated disk blocks
- du -s returns number of disk blocks used in all visible files it sees
in the current tree.
Especially, du -s does NOT count invisible files (those which start with a
dot). But point taken, 15 Gb is a lot. Explaination of Stephen and
Michael seems very plausible, I've encountered similar situations myself.
