If you want to set a symlink to the appropriate System.map, simply
look in /proc/cmdline for the kernel image which was loaded. If you
have some kind of "structure" in your kernel's file name, then you
will be able to choose the correct System.map;) At least i386 and
Alpha support this. ...and I think other architectures will support
this as well, won't they?
