We had exactly the same system. However we dumped it into the trashbin
because this HP NotServer 5/133 LS2 can't do reliable SMP. We have tried
SMP versions of Linux (redhat 6.1) SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 and Windows NT 4.0
and all OS'es died at the moment the second CPU is activated.

Try all your tests with a UNI-processor kernel and come back here.
