Hi!
I have installed SuSE Linux 6.3 (kernel 2.2.13), and I have compiled the
kernel 2.3.99-pre8, and when I have installed the new kernel, when the
system load, I got this error message:
Kernel panic: VFS:Unable to mount root fs on 16:03.

When I finished compiling the kernel appear a message:

*boot* 512 (I'm not regarding exact this)
root device is 22 3

The problem is the mount point?
How reparing this problem?

Thanks,
             Juan
