2.4.0-test1-ac4 observations

Hi,

I've been trying to run 2.4.0-test1-ac4 on my firewall/gateway machine
without much success. Here's a list of observations so far:

1. m_n_i: allocated inode is within quota

Solution is simple - just comment out the printk's in
fs/minix/bitmap.c - someone like to comment whether these
can be removed, or are they there as a reminder that more
   work needs to be done?

2. NFS spams with lots and lots of messages similar to:

   nfs_notify_change: attr=0, fattr=4??
   nfs_refresh_inode: inode number mismatch
   expected (0x305/0x1de7), got (0x305/0x1de9)

This is 2.4.0-test1-ac4 root NFS client running against
a 2.2.14 knfsd server. Sorry, haven't investigated it
   any more.

3. On the NFS server (2.2.14), I keep getting:

   find_fh_dentry: 03:05/7651 dir/7725 not found!

when the 2.4.0 client is running. Sorry, haven't
   investigated it any more.

4. "ipchains" part of the netfilter seems to cause kernel
   lockup.

Again, I haven't investigated this deeply yet. However, the
symptom is that if I try to ping machines on the Internet
from machines within my local network, it causes the
2.4.0-test1-ac4 firewall to lockup. Timer interrupts are
still running, but it doesn't respond to its serial tty
nor pings from the local network.

I guess something is locking up in a bottom-half handler
in ipchains, which then prevents all other bottom-halfs
   from running.
