        Oh, definitely. Again, the kernel side of the story is trivial -
especially if you are OK with 32-bit i_nlink on 32-bit platforms (even
64bit would not be fatal, since i_nlink is almost never used by VFS and
none of the uses are on critical paths). All the pain sits in stat()
ABI.
        As for the 2.6 plans... let's return to that when 2.5 will open,
OK? Until then it's kinda pointless...
