elevator.c warnings?

I just installed a DAC960PD RAID controller. Whenever I attempt to access
it hard (eg big grep, rsync, etc.) the following messages starts spewing to
the console -- I'm not sure what's causing them, but the messages seem to
be coming out of drivers/block/elevator.c

30:01: elevator read_pendings -2 should be 0
30:01: elevator nr_segments 0 should be 2
30:01: elevator read_pendings 2 should be 1
30:01: elevator nr_segments 9 should be 8
30:01: elevator read_pendings 2 should be 1
30:01: elevator nr_segments 5 should be 4
30:01: elevator read_pendings -1 should be 0
30:01: elevator nr_segments 3 should be 4
30:01: elevator read_pendings -1 should be 0
30:01: elevator nr_segments 1 should be 2
30:01: elevator read_pendings 3 should be 1
30:01: elevator nr_segments 3 should be 1
30:01: elevator read_pendings -1 should be 0
30:01: elevator nr_segments 0 should be 1
30:01: elevator read_pendings 2 should be 1
30:01: elevator nr_segments 12 should be 11

This is on 2.4.0-test1, but I've been seeing messages like this for the
last several kernels.
