Something strange must be going on... If I avoid using the special DAC960
merging functions someone wrote, I still see this problem happening when I run
mke2fs. The DAC960 driver only dequeues requests in one place and the
io_request_lock is always held, so I'm suspicious that the merging code itself
may have a bug that's only apparent on devices with large gueues.
