The CVS version of ALSA I'm using (05-23-2000) does support power management
for my card (CS4237B) and it worked perfectly with 2.3.99-pre9.
As I mentioned in my previous email, reverting the changes made to the
suspend() function in the ac-patches solves my problem, that's why I sent
this message to lkml and not alsa-devel...
