I tried a couple of things. Finally, I removed the entire
/usr/src/linux directory (2.2.4test), extracted 2.2.4test and
then applied the patch ac7.
First, make xconfig is broken.
Second, after using make menuconfig on this clean build,
I got the same ide_release_dma error.
I guess I'll wait until ac8?
