You are backing out way too much, if you have to back stuff out
until Doug fixes this use the attached patch.
Actually, as someone else pointed out the scsi_wait_req needs tweak
so that SCSI_TIMEOUT reads SCSI_TIMEOUT+4*HZ -- a small amount of
time that must be critical I guess.
It probably also provides a pretty good hint on how to fix the aic
driver.
