Hi there,

I'm using a ne2kpci NIC. While using the linux 2.3.99-pre8 kernel I've got
an extremly slow network performance. But pinging looks quite normal.
Using ssh ftp etc the connection slowdown.

THe other weird thing my nic is plugged to irq 17 (is that normal?).
stuff like multicast and netfilter etc have i switched off.

Would do I do wrong?
