lm sensors and data corruption?

I just got this weird impression that whenver I load lm sensors
( for example lm_sensors-2.4.5 ) my kernel gets significantly more
unsable and experiences data corruption.

On the other hand w/out lm modules it seems be stable.

has anyone gotten similar impression?

kernels : 2.3.50-2.4.0test1-ac7
systesm : smp
