This is indeed odd, have you timed this precisely from the point of last human
interface activity? And just out of curiosity and yes I recognize APM is
disabled, but what are the timeout values for APM in the CMOS settings? Another
perhaps related question, do you have your harddrives tuned for sleep mode?
