How are you defining 'won't boot' ? Does the box reboot at boot time,
hang on the first boot line, etc.? I'm having problems booting a
Latitude (laptop)....its rebooting at boot time (doesn't even get to the
first boot line), and I'm using bzImage (via loadlin). Maybe my issue is
related.

using kernel version: 2.4.0-test1-ac16
