Funny you should mention that. I recently upgraded a PowerEdge 6300
with a PERC 2/SC controller to RH 6.2 (2.2.14) from RH 6.0 (2.2.5). I
had loads of problems until I realised I needed to add the drivers
(obtainable from Dell's website - do a search for rh62ret.zip).

2.2.16 sources includes the MegaTrends RAID driver. I have not tried
this - our server can't be down. You might like to try compiling a
bootable floppy with the kernel on it and try booting with that.
