I have system running kernel 2.2.15aa2 SMP (2*PIII), but the same problem persist with other kernels (2.2.14,2.2.14aa1,2.2.16)

Sometimes, under high network load I see the following message in a kernel log:

Jun 22 13:36:08 titan kernel: NET: 4026 messages suppressed.
Jun 22 13:36:08 titan kernel: eth1: card reports no resources.
Jun 22 13:36:08 titan kernel: dst cache overflow
Jun 22 13:36:08 titan kernel: eth1: card reports no resources.
Jun 22 13:36:14 titan kernel: NET: 3856 messages suppressed.
Jun 22 13:36:14 titan kernel: eth1: card reports no resources.
Jun 22 13:36:14 titan kernel: dst cache overflow
Jun 22 13:36:14 titan kernel: eth1: card reports no resources.
Jun 22 13:36:18 titan kernel: NET: 3654 messages suppressed.
Jun 22 13:36:19 titan kernel: eth1: card reports no resources.
Jun 22 13:36:19 titan kernel: dst cache overflow
Jun 22 13:36:19 titan kernel: eth1: card reports no resources.
Jun 22 13:36:23 titan kernel: NET: 1877 messages suppressed.
Jun 22 13:36:23 titan kernel: eth1: card reports no resources.
Jun 22 13:36:23 titan kernel: dst cache overflow
Jun 22 13:36:23 titan kernel: eth1: card reports no resources.

And the systems starts to respond realy poorly to network activity on both Ethernet interfaces - ping reports more than 70% of packet lost.

eth1: is Intel EtherExpressPro100
eth0: is 3COM 905B.

Could anyone explain why this may happen and how this can be solved ?
