I apologize, that patch is not a fix. It should provoke bug,
rather than to fix it. So that, I would expect either mush faster
crash closer to the point of real bug or no effect at all.
Yes, did you remove that strange patch with cli()? Please, remove.
It does nothing useful, but can hide real problem.
