Yes! Much faster, and not fatal (although it just keeps rolling along -
scrolling up the console - but hey, it's self-logging now, no more copying
from screen!).

Here's the first instance. Is there any point with the subsequent? And, uhm,
should I expect this to run for about a week and then go fatal? Is that
what's been happenning silently up until now, an error walking its way
through RAM?
