When I boot up 2.4.0-test2, I get:

-----
Jun 24 10:51:18 nwmra28136 kernel: Linux Tulip driver version 0.9.6 (May 31, 2000)
Jun 24 10:51:18 nwmra28136 kernel: eth0: Digital DC21040 Tulip rev 35 at 0xb800, 00:40:C7:94:13:5F, IRQ 5. <snip>
Jun 24 10:51:22 nwmra28136 dhcpcd[469]: dhcpStart: socket: Invalid argument -----

This is the dhcpcd that comes with Caldera 2.4. When I use the same dhcpcd
with 2.3.99-pre3, I get the message "dhcpcd uses obsolete
(PF_INET,SOCK_PACKET)", but it works anyway.

I compiled version 1.3.18-pl8 of dhcpcd. When I try to run it with
2.4.0-test2, I get the same "socket: Invalid argument" message. This
dhcpcd will work with 2.3.99-pre3, although I get the following
messages from it:

-----
Jun 24 11:38:36 nwmra28136 dhcpcd[620]: dhcpConfig: ioctl SIOCADDRT: File exists
Jun 24 11:38:36 nwmra28136 dhcpcd[620]: dhcpConfig: open/write/close: No such file or directory
Jun 24 11:38:36 nwmra28136 dhcpcd[620]: dhcpConfig: fopen: No such file or directory
