Maybe it wasn't a zoltrix. It was a cheap card. Here is what bttv
finds:

Video works great, but like I said I get sound until I load a video
app. Then I see the TV program without sound. When I exit I get sound
again.
Could it be a conflict of dsp devices? I've run lsof|grep dsp & grep
mixer and none are being used.
