Hello,
I have an MSI-6167 motherboard with the AMD-750 "Viper" chipset, and I'm
having a problem getting udma66 working. I'm currently using
2.4.0test2-ac2.

The drive on hda is a udma66 drive, is using the 80-wire cable, and
shows up as udma66 according to the bios bootup info screen. But as can
be seen above, it's using udma33. When I try to force it with "hdparm
-X68 /dev/hda" the kernel says:
ide0: Speed warnings UDMA 3/4/5 is not functional.
Why exactly is it not functional in my configuration? Does this have
anything to do with the "disabling single-word DMA support (revision <
C4)" message above?
