where is /dev/iomem?

Hi,

I'm trying to debug XFree 4.0 on my Linux SuSE 6.4 box. X server returns a
error and from source reading I can conclude it tries to open "/dev/iomem"
device. This thing doesn't exist on my system.

Q. What it is and what should I do to have it?
