Actually this feature was present in fairsched's predecessor QLinux
(http://www.cs.umass.edu/~lass/software/qlinux/). Dropping it
simplified the code quite a bit and I didn't think it's that useful.
I might have been wrong, do you have a usage scenario in mind?
