So, in other words the above path in modules.conf should read:
path[misc]=/lib/modules/default/misc?
That would seem reasonable to me. I usually maintain at least two
development trees and two stable trees that I can switch between during
boot. Since there are some significant differences between 2.2 and 2.4
this flexibility is fairly important to me. Thanks.
