I reversed the whole pre2:fs/ext2/inode.c portion, which will contain
any changes done in pre1 as well.

My problem is fs specific.. boots fine, but make dep hangs in an
endless loop.

I think the hang can only be the same one if it's syslogd writing
to logs that's triggering it.
