At the time, they had someone "starting on monday" to handle the linux
driver. I guess they never made it to work that Monday :-)

I don't run 2.2. And I showed you the driver (that very 2.3.33 driver)
running on 2.4.0-test... I've put a README in there to deal with alot
of these questions (and I knew you where gonna bitch about it being 2.3.33)
Why are people always to inflexable as to require everything to match up
atom to atom (bit for bit) before they will try anything? Did you look
at the patches at all? They hardly touch the kernel sources at all. The
changes necessary are to the dpt_i2o driver itself.
As I've stated in the README, I do not have explicit permission to distribute
their driver.

Right. This is caused by the compiler... *cough*bullshit*cough*. Either
del_timer isn't exported or the dpt driver didn't load the right include
file. I'll go play with 2.2.17 later. (Some companies have a negative
clue level.)

PS: Ignore the mis-information from Adaptec/DPT. If you're as smart as you
should be, you can fix this yourself (assuming you know much about the
linux kernel and how it gets built.)
