1.: SCSI lock-up when scanning with SNAPSCAN1236
2.:
I have an AGFA SNAP-scan 1236S and used it with the kernel
2.2.16 and with the new beta-test-kernel 2.4.0-test9.
The SCSI-Controller is a aha152x and is working fine with
the 2.2.16 kernel except that there is an error message from
the aha152x module but the scan is ok:

But with the new test-kernel only the detection of the scanner is
working fine. When I start the scan process the whole SCSI-Bus is
locked up.
I tested the SCSI bus with and without parity but the problem was
still the same (I could only switch off the parity with modifying
the code but this is another problem).
This is the detection of the scanner by the aha152x-module:
