FYI

Dunno how to fix, but using the attached minimal .config,
2.2.18pre15 compiles die when CONFIG_HFMODEM=y.

The deaths differ depending on the compiler used.

Using gcc version 2.95.2:
=========================
make[3]: Entering directory `/tmp/linux/drivers/char/hfmodem'

Using egcs-2.91.66:
===================

make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1

[ and indeed, hfmodem_refclock_setscale is nowhere defined in the source ]
