Hi,

Tested 2.4.0 on my HP Netserver E800 SMP box with one PIII/800MHz
processor that runs well with 2.2.18 kernel.
Result are that 2.4.0-testrelease messes something up with IDE so I get
no IDE support. dmesg shows that:

Uniform Multi-Platform E-IDE driver Revision: 6.31
ide: Assuming 33MHz system bus speed for PIO modes; override with idebus=xx
ServerWorks OSB4: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 79
PCI: Device 00:0f.1 not available because of resource collisions
ServerWorks OSB4: chipset revision 0
ServerWorks OSB4: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
    ide0: BM-DMA at 0x1840-0x1847, BIOS settings: hda:pio, hdb:pio
ServerWorks OSB4: IO baseregs (BIOS) are reported as MEM, report to <andre@linux
-ide.org>.
    ide1: BM-DMA at 0x1848-0x184f, BIOS settings: hdc:pio, hdd:pio

2.4.0-testrelease-ac4/ac5 doesn't get so far at all because are
dying with message 'APIC error on CPU0:08(08)' looping endlessly.

dmesg from 2.4.0-testrelease and kernel config are included. If more
data needed, just ask.
