Hello!
after experiencing several oops since installing Kernel 2.4.0 I thought
I'd better let someone know there still might be some trouble in the
kernel ... Find my very first question at the very bottom of this mail and
the answer I got from Petr Vandrovec right below ...
I'll try to give you any information you need to find out the cause ...
BTW CPU is AMD K6-2+

Hi folks,
using the new Kernel it now occured for the 4th time that I get an Oops
some minutes after bootup, with X-Windows running. However, if I get
past this 'critical period' the system seems to run ok (it never crashed
a second time although running all day), even when heavily loaded
(avifile, mtvp, transfers using samba etc.).
