That'd be me, though I'm not sure I'd consider myself anything like a
sound maintainer. I hacked on sound drivers and like to think I have
a good idea of what the kernel side should really look like, but I
don't really spend time on it anymore. Which is a shame, I'll admit.
If someone wants to convince my employer to pay me to hack on sound,
please feel free :)

I think Jeff Garzik would be the first person who jumps to my mind
as '2.[24] sound maintainer', but I know he's very busy doing many
other things. Hopefully the kernel side of ALSA will be acceptable
for inclusion in 2.5. At least it has an army of people actively
maintaining it.
