      I must add, that heavy load ( find / )
   does produce sound glitches with problematic kernels
   while 2.4.7 silently ignores it, still giving out
   perfect sound quality.

glitches - clicks.

even buffer of 4M for mpg123 doesnt help, so
it is surely low-level...
